Edge Project Reflection

My Edge Project, the 30 day challenge, was a great way to push myself artistically. At the beginning of the project I felt overwelmed because it seemed each piece I created had to be perfect. But as time went on I learned how to relax and have fun instead of forcing ideas to come. Not only did that make the project more enjoyable, but I ended up creating pieces that I am still proud of to this day. I did have periods where I felt exhausted creatively, or where I ran out of time because of other commitments, but I learned to combat that by not second guessing myself. It was also very healthy for me to have something consistent to do everyday, it added structure to my life. One of the areas that I grew the most in was my fear of sharing my work online. Once I posted my first piece I instantly forgot of how intimidating it had seemed before. Not every piece I created was worth sharing, but I dont care if its perfect anymore. Overall, this project was a great learning experience. I plan on doing many more 30 day challenges in the future.
