Edge Project: 30 Day Art Challenge
For my Edge project I did a 30 day art challenge, where I created a piece of art every day for 30 days and shared it on social media. Each day I would choose a word from a prompt list as inspiration, or read an article and illustrate the piece for it. By choosing to post the finished art on Instagram, I wanted to overcome my fear of sharing my work online as well as start to build up my portfolio. I also wanted to learn how to have fun and stop overthinking everything I make, which is a problem of mine. Throughout this project I accomplished both of those goals. I also learned how to self-motivated and how to work quickly on a tight deadline. My proposed deliverable for this project include my Instagram account as well as a powerpoint presentation that shows the more in depth process, from sketches to finished products. You can find both of those links here.
